Registering our new students

​​Registration at the new English Collaboration Centre in Mapadegat has been an interesting experience! We had advertised opening times as 1pm to 4pm but clearly this was lost in translation as 9pm registrations became standard (way past our bedtime!). Whoever came through the door, and whatever time it was, we ensured they were always greeted with a smile and a “Selamat Datang!”.

There was no doubt that we were all worried when we only registered one student on the first day, these worries were soon dashed after we hit our 70th student registration by the end of the week. Two of our SD (Primary age) classes are already full and a core group of them have managed to set up camp every afternoon in our reception room with expectant faces!
