Establishing surf protected areas across Indonesia with Conservation International and Save the Waves

We are thrilled to announce A Liquid Future’s new partnership with Conservation International and Save The Waves to establish Surf Protected Areas across Indonesia!

The simple aim is to protect vast expanses of coral reef and marine ecosystems while establishing community driven development through sustainable marine tourism.  Using surfing and surf tourism to its extraordinary potential is a win win situation for all involved – nature, local communities and visiting tourists.

Enshrined in Indonesia law we aim to develop a network across Indonesia where there are 200 – 400 undeveloped surf spots and local communities are facing issues such as over-fishing, rampant coastal development, rising sea levels and plastic pollution to name some.

Get in touch to see how you can help make this happen.
