United Nations Ocean Decade Conference Barcelona April 2024

We were thrilled to have Surfer Scientists selected to attend the United Nations Ocean Decade Conference in Barcelona. Bringing together over 1,500 participants from around the world, it was an inspiring space to learn, connect, and share ideas.

We left energized, with new collaborations taking shape and a growing wave of people keen to join and support Surfer Scientists.

Nicole is a retired ecopsycotherapist who, after 15 years, is consulting with expats who wish to move to France. She resides in Basque Country, where gastronomy and the quality of food are held in high regard.

Born and raised in Southern California, Nicole enjoys surfing, skateboarding, bouldering and gathering with others to talk solutions and action regarding the climate crisis.
