Partnership with Bung Hatte University in Padang West Sumatra

We are excited to announce our partnership with the Marine Science and English Departments of Bung Hatta University in Padang.  

One of ALF’s very first students from Katiet back in 2012 Jonathon, has been studying English at Bung Hatta University in Padang. Inspired by the English he learnt with ALF, Jonathon knew he wanted to further his knowledge, love and aptitude for the language. When Lizzie asked if he thought it would be a good idea for ALF to collaborate with his university, he thought it would.  Two Zooms later and we are drawing up an MoU!  These very personal connections based in trust from lived, shared experience go on to broaden, strengthen and add more possibilities to what can be achieved.  We could never have imagined it and therein lies the beauty and magic to it all.  What a starting point to have for a new partnership.
